Neil drove his Duster on the Street until 1996, slowly making the transition to the full time race car pictured above.  Neil and Dennis managed a best of 12.66 with the original 120,000 mile 318, followed by a 340, then 360 Mopar Performance factory short block.  3 years ago we cleaned out my garage and assembled a basic 440.  While the car ran consistent 11 teens, the few times he drove the Jerry's Nugget Challenger convinced him it's better to chase your opponent instead of looking over your shoulder.  Currently residing between the stock frame rails is a 500 cid 440 Source.com stroker assembled by HBR Competition Engines of Las Vegas.  Planned updates include an 8" converter and complete Caltracs rear suspension.   Neil lives in Las Vegas with wife Polly and children Jacob and Kaylee.
